This web site relates the mission of a group of individuals who love the sport of table tennis and are dedicated to seeing that great facilities are available for players in metropolitan Indianapolis.
Over at least the last 40 years (and likely for decades before that), club owners have put their own money at risk and devoted their personal time so that Indianapolis could have dedicated table tennis facilities. For the past 6+ years, Indianapolis has had a dedicated facility at 5252 W 79th Street, first developed by Dave Stout (“SpinBlock”) and then in 2022 continued as a new club (“IndyPong”) under the ownership of three accomplished local players. We really appreciate the efforts of these past club owners who, along with fantastic coaches, really raised the standard of the sport in Indianapolis.
We, as a committee representing a larger group of dedicated players, is now working to find new facilities and a plan for funding a new club, building on the foundation laid by those earlier clubs. If you feel moved to get involved, please contact us at info@indianapolistabletennis.org.
